“HOME-BUILDING” SALON

This Salon is part of my ACW (Art to Change the World) intern project happening in Spring 2027 called “Home-Building”, a community based making event revolving around the idea and aesthetics of home, place, and memory, culminating in a large scale installation constructed out of canvases and panels in an outside and accessible area.
This salon will involve painting, drawing, or collaging on small, pre-cut canvases/panels to be made into a model on provided bases. You will be responding visually to phrases, questions, and anecdotes about the idea of home. It will act as a trial run for the larger scale event and as a way to learn and improve upon my concept. The models will be photographed downstairs and can either be taken home or I will keep them and use them in conjunction with the final installation. All materials provided.
